Description:
This is a shortwave QRP SSB/CW transceiver. Its ultra-small size makes it easy to carry for outdoor use. It features a built-in 4000 mAh lithium battery, a 1602N LCD screen, and a built-in speaker. It supports connection to a PC via software control in digital modes such as FT8, JS8, and FT4, and supports automatic CW decoding.
Features:
-8 lanes cover 80m/60m/40m/30m/20m/17m/15m/10m
- Excellent PCB layout design in line with the design principles for high-frequency circuits to ensure outstanding performance.
- Regardless of whether an internal battery or an external 13.8V power supply is used, it can achieve 3-5W of power in 8 areas and reserves SOT-223 and TO-220 pack pads required for an upgrade.
-High emission efficiency: 80m/60m/40m/30m/20m efficiency is greater than 80%, 17m efficiency is greater than 70%, 15m/10m efficiency is greater than 60%
-High accuracy KDS brand TCXO, frequency accuracy is better than 1 ppm, frequency stability is better than 0.5 ppm
-Ultra small size: 83 * 38 * 124 mm (excluding protruding parts)
- Plenty of interfaces (cat, ptt out, mic/key, k-head mic)
-All LPF parts use 100V c0g/np0 capacitors
-Use genuine Omron magnetic locking relays
-Use an operational amplifier chip with lower noise than the LM4562
-Built-in speaker with cavity
-Built-in 11.1 V (12.6 V) lithium battery.
- BNC antenna interface
The usdx+ update looks like this:
- The headphone and power/microphone jacks have been moved to the front to allow easy access to the headphones and power button.
- Move the keys to the bottom of the LCD screen for a larger touch area and a more comfortable keystroke experience.
- Improved built-in speaker effects, double the sound!
- PCB-reserved pads for various upgrades, ready to use immediately, can be used as a template for DIY upgrade learning.
- Quickly change QRP-CW frequency.
- Supports adjusting the CW sidetone volume.
- Support for CW sidetone setting.
List of functions:
1. Supports all modes: USB, LSB, CW, AM, FM (SSB mode has good reception but poor transmission. AM and FM modes are free, but the effect is not good).
Filter DSP filter: 4000, 2500, 1700, 500, 200, 100, 50 Hz passband
2. Function DSP functions: automatic gain control (AGC), noise reduction (NR), voice trigger (VOX), RX attenuation (ATT), TX noise gate, TX unit control, volume control, dBm/s meter.
3. Sidebar/Carrier Suppression SSSSB Transmit: better than -45 dBc, IMD3 (dual tone) -33 dBc, Receive: better than -50 dBc
4. Multiband support, continuously adjustable 10m within 80m frequency range (from 20kHz..99mhz, power loss)
5.Open-source firmware, built with the Arduino IDE; allows experimentation, new features can be added, contributions can be shared via GitHub. Software complexity: 2000 lines of software-based Vovox code available for fast full control (QSK and half-QSK operations) or rx/auxiliary switch tx for external control of PTT/PA output with a fully digital TX delay stage and a software-based SSB step-down transmitter in digital mode (no CAT or PTT interface required): Controls the phase of the Si5351 thresholder (by switching at 800 kbit/s for small frequency changes under I2C) and the size of the PA (via PWM PA key-shaping circuit).
6. Software-based fully digital SDR receiver stage (optional): The (complex) I/Q signal is sampled by a quadrature sampling detector digital mixer, and a 90-degree phase shift is mathematically performed in software (Hilbert transform). Three independently switchable analog faders (0dB, -13dB, -20dB, -33dB, -53dB, -60dB, -73dB) from the pre-receiver are added by adding Atten sidebands.
7. Receiver background noise mds: -135 dBm at 28 MHz (200 Hz bw)
8. Receiver-to-receiver front-end selectivity: +/-2 kHz steep 45 dB/decade tuning frequency response
9. Dynamic blocking range: 20 kHz offset 123 dB, 2 kHz offset 78 dB
10.cw decoder, direct/iambic a/b keyer
11.vvfo a/b + rit and split and the corresponding relay via i2c
12.cat supports cat with filter switch (using the Kenwood TS-480 protocol)
