LDA (Low-Pressure Adjustment) is a mechanism in the TDI injection pump that limits the amount of fuel delivered at low engine speeds and reduces or eliminates low-pressure boost. However, as the pressure increases, a higher fuel dose is automatically delivered. An eccentric pin allows you to adjust the engine settings.
Very simple installation. It involves loosening a few screws that clamp the pump housing in place and replacing the standard pin with a new tuning boost pin.
