Shortwave tuning amplifier, frequency range 3–30 MHz, adjustable gain 0–30 dB
Features:
1. Shortwave tuning amplifier to improve the received signal.
2. Adjustable narrowband tuning range from 3 MHz to 30 MHz with approximately 1 MHz bandwidth.
3. Incoming signals from the ANT port are filtered by the integrated, tunable bandpass filter and then amplified by a low-noise amplifier before being output to the RX/TX port.
4. The tunable filter emphasizes the selected frequency range while simultaneously reducing unwanted signals at adjacent frequencies. The gain is adjustable from 0 to 30 dB to compensate for varying signal strengths and minimize distortion.
5. The integrated bypass function allows for direct signal path operation if required. Maximum rated voltage: AC 440 V/DC 120 V. Maximum rated current: 8 A. Please observe the specified limits.
6. Rear panel connections: BNC connector. Connect the ANT connector to the antenna and the RX/TX connector to the radio, receiver, or other compatible device.
7. For safety reasons, turn off the amplifier or use the external control connection before changing the system wiring.
8. The control interface is a 3.5 mm mono audio jack.
9. Requires a regulated 12V or 13.8V DC power supply. Power connector size: 5.5 × 2.1 mm, positive terminal in the center. Please check the correct voltage and polarity before use.
10. Press the black button on the right side of the front panel to turn on the device. The green indicator light will illuminate. The red indicator light will illuminate during bypass/control operation.
11. Use the TUNE control to adjust the center frequency of the filter from 3 MHz to 30 MHz.
12. With FINE TUNE you can precisely adjust the selected frequency.
13. Use GAIN to control the amplification.
