Description
This is for a CNC-machined IFP depth adjustment tool made of 6061 aluminum. This will not work for FOX bicycle shocks. This fits the 1.5 to 2.5 IFP of a Fox Podium shock with an IFP vent port.
This also applies to Schmitty Racing IFPs, which were manufactured for the same application.
To do this, simply adjust a measuring tape to the desired distance and tighten the collar with an Allen key. Then, press the IFP downwards with the tool until the collar is flush with the top of the shock absorber – done. Simply twist while pulling upwards with light pressure until the tool releases.
To remove the IFP, simply insert the tool into the tube and place it onto the IFP. Then, gently wiggle it while rotating the tool until it clicks into place. Next, apply slight pressure and rotate the tool back and forth to center it and align it with the IFP eyelets. Finally, give it a simple 90-degree turn and you can pull it out.
