Oil pump intake manifold gasket for Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Lancia 1.6, 2.0, 2.2 JTDM
Special feature:
Aluminum sleeve for oil pump – the seal connects the oil pump to the intake pipe and is triple-sealed. Suitable for Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Lancia with 1.6, 2.0 and 2.2 JTD Multijet engines.
The oil pump intake pipe seal consists of an O-ring located between the oil pump and the diesel engine's intake pipe. Its primary function is to completely seal this connection. However, over time, the seal hardens and allows oil to pass through, leading to a leak and a drop in lubricating oil pressure. This can result in critical engine failure.
Our aluminum sealing sleeve, which connects the oil pump to the intake pipe, replaces a defective original oil pump intake pipe gasket that can lead to engine damage. The new sealing sleeve creates a permanent connection between the oil pump intake pipe and the oil pan, thus correcting this manufacturing defect in the engine. Unlike the original gasket, it will not deform. The kit includes O-rings made of Viton®, a temperature- and oil-resistant material. Replacing the old gasket is simple: remove the old gasket and replace it with our sleeve.
