Therefore, we strongly recommend that you replace both parts.
Technically modified stators are excluded from exchange.

Note:
Before you install your new stator regulator rectifier;
Check the AC output of the stator.
Replace any burnt or corroded connections on the stator and regulator/rectifier.
Check and repair any melted cables.
Use high-temperature resistant dielectric grease for all connections.
Our stator/regulator may use a different cable color code than your original.
All wires are installed in the correct order; please do not change any of the wiring configurations.
This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement and should be used as such.
Always use locking compound when screwing in the stator.
If our stator contains a pickup coil, always ensure the correct air gap during installation.
