Test procedure:
Make sure the motorcycles are in neutral!!! Also with the ignition on!
Before you pull an old magnet from a motorcycle, you can test it.
If you apply 12 volts to the two wires in the plastic connector, the magnet is the polarity sensor.
Applying 12 volts with the wrong polarity won't damage the magnet, it just won't work.
If the 12 volts are correctly applied to the two small wires:
If the starter motor, the magneto, the battery and the starter itself are all good.
If the magnet makes an audible click sound, but your starter does not run, the magnet is good.
