SFF-8643 to U2 Kit ngff M-Key to HD Mini SAS NVME PCIE SSD SATA Adapter for Motherboard
Features:
1. Supports M.2 modules in 22110, 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230 form factors with key B or key B+M based on SATA or PCIE
2. Hyper-Kit Storage Controller, Ultra PCI-E Card (PCIe 3.0 x4), the card only works for PCI-E SSDs (does not work for SAS or HD Mini SAS HD)
This U.2 M.2 converter enables two different applications.
1. An M.2 PCIe SSD in the 22110, 2280, 2260, 2242, and 2230 can be connected and used as a replacement for a 2.5-inch hard drive. The converter can be installed internally in the system via the SFF-8643 HD Mini interface.
2. An M.2 SSD in the 2280, 2260, 2242, and 2230 form factors can be connected and used as a replacement for a 2.5-inch hard drive. The converter can be installed internally in the system via the SATA 22-pin interface.

Note:
NVMe M.2 SSD on U.2 Protocol SFF-8643 interface, please note! NVMe cannot be used with the SATA interface.
SATA M.2 NGFF SSD on a SATA interface, please note! NGFF cannot be transferred to the SFF-8643 interface.
This adapter card is generally connected to the following motherboard interface using an SFF-8643 to SS-8643 cable! This includes motherboards such as the Gigabyte GA-Z270X-Gaming-K5, Aorus Z270X-Gaming 9, and others.
Regarding the speed of the riser card
This adapter card only changes the interface form, i.e., it connects the signal line from your original hard drive interface and converts it to a different interface form. This conversion does not need to go through the integrated circuit chip. The speed and performance of the hard drive are unaffected, and no driver is required (the operating system only needs to load your hard drive's driver, and the adapter card should not be powered since there is no chip inside). The overall speed depends on how fast your hard drive is and how well your computer can support it (many computers can be made significantly faster by updating the BIOS).
