1. Check the AC output of the stator.
2. Replace all burnt or corroded connections on the stator and the regulator/rectifier.
3. Check and repair any melted cable lengths.
4. Use high-temperature dielectric grease for all connections.
5. Our stator may use a different cable color code than your original.
6. All wires are installed in the correct order. Please do not change any of the cable configurations.
7. This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement and should be used as such.
8. Always use the locking connection on the stator stator.
9. If our stator includes a pickup coil, always ensure that the air gap is correct during installation.
