This tool is precision CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and allows for easy disassembly of both sides of the internals of RockShox forks. I'm not aware of any models it doesn't fit, but there might be some. Compatible with forks using an 8mm lower nut, it works with models such as Lyrik, Pike, Reba, Sid, Tora, and Recon.
The extended length ensures the correct reach for deep step-cast designs and makes them extremely versatile for a wide range of RockShox forks.
It works like a thread-cutting tool and is simply screwed into the compression or damper shaft. A light tap with a soft hammer then removes the shaft cleanly and safely.
This durable, lightweight and specially designed tool enables faster and more efficient maintenance of the lower leg.
