Description
This auction is for a combination set. It includes six tools for the 2021 Fox DHX2 and X2 shocks. All tools are made in the USA and CNC machined from 6061 aluminum. These are all the clamps and bushings you need to rebuild the 2021 Fox X2 shock.
First, we have a shock clamp for the 2021 FOX Float DH X2 and X2. The clamp fits the 3/8"-shaft and the inner air sleeve. The 3/8" Does not fit older versions of the X2 shock. It is designed for a precise fit. We left plenty of material to allow for ample play in the 3/8" shaft clamp, and we made it 0.440" thick to fit in tight spaces. It is thin enough to fit inside the 2021 version shock. It has the same fit as Fox tool number 803-01-690.
Next, we have a wrench for the negative air seal head. It's 9.5 inches long and has chamfered corners for a comfortable grip. It has a 3/8-inch square drive, so you can tighten it to specification. Simply align the torque wrench with the line (perpendicular to the wrench) and you're good to go. This is the same fit as Fox part number 398-00-419. This tool fits 2016–2021 X2 and DHX2 Float shocks.
Next, we have a bearing housing driver; this is the tool in step 12 of the Fox Float x2 conversion guide. It's the same fit as the Fox tool number 398-00-887, which is used on the 2021 Fox x2 shocks. It has four hardened steel pins and is CNC machined for a superior fit. It has a 30mm hex socket, large enough for a wrench or a half-moon key.
Then we have the REZI vise. It includes the 1.25" internal air sleeve clamp, which corresponds to Fox part number 803-01-690, and the REZI body clamp, which corresponds to Fox part number 803-01-545. The REZI body clamp is only used in 2021, and the internal air sleeve clamp fits all Fox shocks. We've allowed plenty of clearance on the REZI body side of the clamp, giving you a working range of 170 degrees. Bulky clamps may only allow 90 degrees.
Finally, we have a cartridge cap tool. It has four hardened pins that fit both the red and blue caps for the 2021 DHX2 and X2 shocks only. One has a 3/8-inch square drive, and the other fits a 5/8-inch or 16mm socket. It's the same fit as Fox tools #398-00-882 and 398-00-881.
The shock absorber is NOT included in the auction, only the tool. We have several listings of these tools individually or in small sets.
