This is a laser-cut cover plate made of 1.5 mm thick stainless steel. It has been smoothed and has a rough surface, which ensures a better seal and also removes all sharp edges (so you don't cut your fingers).
It ensures cleaner acceleration at lower RPMs by preventing the recirculation of exhaust gases. This will cause the check engine light to illuminate, so only install it if you know what you're doing. If the EGR valve has been copied from the ECU, it's best to use a blanking plate.
THAT FITS:
The second generation 2.0-liter TDI CR (Common Rail) engines, which only comply with Euro 5 (do not match the Euro 6 engines EA288), are used in VW, Audi, Seat, and Skoda.
Engine codes CFFB, CFFD, CFGC, CFGB, CFJB, CFHC, CGLC, CMGB. The CFCA is the twin-turbo engine in the van. The radiator is located at the front of the engine, not the rear, but the plate fits in the same position on the cylinder head. If you cannot find your engine code here or in the first-generation list, please inquire when a new one becomes available.
These do not fit the 2.0L TDi CR Common Rail (CR) engines of the 1st generation.
