EGR valve blanking plate suitable for 2.2L Freelander 2 Evoque TD4 TD4e SD4 eD4 Discovery SD4
Please read carefully and check the pictures to see if you have the same engine.
It is made of 1.5 mm thick stainless steel. It has been smoothed and has a rough surface, which also contributes to a better seal and removes all sharp edges. It features a slot for easy installation, and the pictures show where it fits.
It ensures cleaner acceleration at lower engine speeds by blocking the recirculation of exhaust gas.
Freelander models can be completely banned until the end of 2009. From 2010 onwards, they comply with the Euro 5 standard, so EML (Emissions Management Module) is installed (they use different software than Fords).
This fits: Only the pictured PSA DW12 2.2-liter engine.

Freelander 2 TDi SDi eDi
Evoque only with the 2.2-liter PSA engine (does not match the later 2.0-liter Ingenium engine).
Jaguar XJ (X351) 2009 MODAL ON. (does not fit the later Ingenium 2.0-liter engine).
Easy-to-install cover plate, fits between the EGR valve and exhaust gas recirculation pipe, and there's no need to remove the EGR or recirculation pipe for installation; a 5-10 minute job. Remove the engine cover. Simply loosen the two nuts (but don't remove them), slide the plate in, and tighten the nuts again. A new gasket is not always included.

3. Prevents soot deposits in the intake manifold and valves, which reduce performance.

6. The DPF stays clean longer, therefore less regeneration is required.
Does NOT fit 2.0-liter L-series engines. Also does NOT fit BMW engines.
