Important: The EGR valve must be deactivated, otherwise the vehicle will enter limp mode. Please check with your tuner whether EGR valve deactivation is possible on your vehicle, as not all i-DTEC models have the same control unit. Some vehicles can be deactivated, others cannot.

This plate is laser-cut from 1.5 mm thick stainless steel and has been smoothed to remove all sharp edges. It fits between the exhaust manifold at the front of the engine and the EGR pipe, which runs around the engine to the rear where the EGR system is located. The mounting position of the plate is shown in the pictures – at one of the two ends of part number 8 in the image.
The connecting tube of these parts can break (and Honda may recall these parts). The plate fits both ends and is significantly cheaper than a new tube, unless Honda installs it free of charge.
Please note : The EGR valve must be calibrated, otherwise the vehicle will go into limp mode. Even a large hole in the valve will cause it to go into limp mode, which is why I don't offer one.
