4. Easy to install, replacement can be done anywhere and takes only a few minutes. A 14 mm wrench or socket is needed for removal, and a 17 mm wrench is required to install the new 5th gear spring screw.
5. If you do not wish to do this yourself, any workshop can do it quickly and inexpensively with the help of the instructions (and the new springs).
6. It can also prevent “blocking” when shifting between all gears, as weak old springs do not properly “reset” the internal shafts to allow shifting into the next gear.
7. A low oil level can lead to gearbox problems, as can incorrectly adjusted shift cables or a faulty clutch system. These must be checked before the new springs can be guaranteed to bring about an improvement.
