Tips:
Please remove the door handle completely from the vehicle so that you have full access for the rebuild.
The quickest way to remove the lever from the door panel is to use a Dremel or similar tool and cut the rod off. You can also use a drill and drill out the end of the factory rod, as it's flared to hold it in place. The new rod is grooved to help keep it in place. Be careful not to damage the reused plastic. There are two tabs that must remain intact for installation.
You must remove the supplied plastic clip from the new handle and reattach it after inserting it into the old door shell.
Pay attention to the spring's orientation. It must be reinstalled in the same position as it was originally installed. It takes a little effort, but it will fit correctly. When installing the spring, be mindful of the lateral pressure you apply to the plastic tabs. (Circled in green, PICTURE 3)
After assembly, check that everything works smoothly. Some housings may require slight adjustments to create more space. You can use a razor blade or similar tool for this. This is usually not necessary. There may be rubber feet that need to be trimmed. You can lubricate the pivot points with a lubricant of your choice.
