Improved clutch pedal pivot bolt for Vauxhall Astra J Mk6 GTC VXR Insignia Zafira C
Characteristics: The original clutch pedal pivot pin is made of weak plastic that wears down over time. This leads to excessive lateral movement of the clutch pedal, which can be very dangerous. The plastic can also break easily, causing the clutch pedal to detach from the pedal assembly. This part is not available separately from Vauxhall. Instead, you will be offered a completely new pedal assembly at a high price.
Reduce pedal movement by installing our stainless steel pivot bolt. The improved clutch pedal pivot bolt reduces excessive pedal movement. However, please note that some lateral movement is necessary for the pedal to function correctly.
The pivot bolt is made of stainless steel, is break-resistant and is expected to last longer than the vehicle itself.
This set is unique and includes self-lubricating brass bushings. The bushings precisely match the specifications of the original bushings but are made of a significantly improved material that does not wear down over time and therefore does not contribute to excessive play in the clutch pedal.
