The Tang Nano 20K is a new development board in the SIPEED Tang Nano series. It has the same number of logic units as the Tang Primer 20K, but its size is compressed to an ultra-compact 5.5 x 2.3 cm!
Its built-in 64 Mbit low-latency SDRAM facilitates the running of NES emulators and improves the performance of softcore Linux systems.
The integrated download chip is upgraded to a USB2.0 HS interface, which features high-speed JTAG download, serial communication, high-speed SPI reception, and precise clock configuration.
Compared to the previous Nano series of FPGA chips, this is a huge upgrade. Maker design? Retro gaming console? DIY development? Learning Verilog? RISC-V softcore? It can satisfy all your needs.
Programming experience:
Compared to common FPGA development environments on the market, the Tang Nano 20K's IDE installation package is less than 200 MB; the disk space it occupies after installation is nearly 500 MB, resulting in significant disk space savings. The IDE's user interface is highly streamlined, preventing beginners from being overwhelmed by too many options. In contrast to other IDEs that can take five minutes to program and ten minutes to synthesize, the Tang Nano 20K's IDE offers a more comfortable experience, requiring only five minutes for programming and ten seconds for synthesis.
