1x 5-pole regulator rectifier

Note:
Signs that your regulator needs to be replaced:
Depending on its installation location, the regulator rectifier can easily overheat. Other causes of a faulty regulator rectifier lie in the battery. Ground connections are crucial for a good voltage, and if there is an incorrect voltage, the regulator rectifier can overheat. Poor grounding, corroded battery terminals, and faulty or loose battery connections can also lead to incorrect voltage.

There are basically two ways in which the regulator rectifier can fail:
The first problem involves a blown diode, which leads to battery discharge. Symptoms like dimming headlights and poor starting can easily lead to the assumption that the problem lies with a faulty battery. It's very helpful to check the voltage with a voltmeter instead of relying solely on symptoms. If the voltage drops below 13 volts, the motorcycle will begin to drain the battery, and eventually, the engine will stall. Check for poor connections and corrosion; these can also cause voltage problems.
The other type of fault is a burned-out shunt regulator, where the regulator rectifier can no longer regulate the voltage, leading to battery overcharging. A voltmeter is also helpful for diagnosis in this case.In general, however, values above 17 volts mean that the regulator rectifier is not properly converting the excess power and the entire excess voltage can cause the headlights to become extremely bright and then burn out.
