Before installing the new stator
Check the AC output of the stator.
Replace any burnt or corroded connections on the stator and regulator/rectifier.
Check and repair any melted cables.
Use a high-temperature dielectric grease for all connections.
Our stator may use a different wire color code than your original.
All wires are installed in the correct order. Please do not change any of the wiring configurations.
This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement and should be used as such.
Always use fuse when screwing in the stator.
If our stator contains a pickup coil, always ensure that the air gap is correct during installation.
The condition of the battery is extremely important. No stator can function properly with a bad or weak battery.
Always fully charge your battery before testing the charging system or replacing parts. If in doubt, have the battery tested or replaced.
