Before you install your new stator
Check the AC output of the stator.
Replace all burnt or corroded connectors on the stator and on the regulator/rectifier.
Check and repair any melted cables.
Use high-temperature dielectric grease for all connections.
Our stator may use a different wire color code than your original.
All wires are installed in the correct order; please do not change any of the wiring configurations.
This stator is designed as a direct plug-in set and should be used as such.
Always use fuse when screwing in the stator.
If our stator contains a pickup coil, always ensure the air gap is correct during installation.
The battery condition is extremely important. No stator can function properly with a bad or weak battery.
Always fully charge your battery before testing the charging system or replacing parts. If in doubt, have the battery tested or replaced.
