Description
The rail pressure of the 6.7-liter Ford Powerstroke engine is controlled by two actuators. The first is the MPROP valve, mounted on the CP4 pump. The second is the fuel pressure regulator valve (also known as DRV), mounted on the rear of the fuel rail on the driver's side. A high duty cycle of the PCM increases the rail pressure, while a low duty cycle decreases it.
