EGR valve repair plate suitable for Ford 1.8 TDCi Connect Focus Mondeo C-max Euro4 only
Please read carefully, as there are two valve types (see the illustrations in the header, which also show where the plate is attached).

It's made of laser-cut 1.5-inch stainless steel. It's been smoothed to create a rough surface, which also contributes to a better seal and removes any sharp edges. It provides smoother acceleration at lower RPMs by preventing exhaust gas recirculation. If the EGR valve is malfunctioning, the improvement can be quite dramatic.
Easy to install: simply loosen the two screws, slide the plate between the intake manifold and the gasket, and then tighten the screws. The check engine light may sometimes illuminate, but not always (forums say this isn't the case, and it hasn't come on in the models I've installed). If it does, check the charge air lines for leaks.
This is compatible with the engine-driven EGR valve type shown in the header images. Please check this before purchasing.
