Application:
You can insert the BPI-R4-NIC into slots CN12 and CN14 on the underside of the BPI-R4 main unit and then secure it with two M2 screws. The BPI-R4-NIC module requires 12V power, therefore the power supply of the BPI-R4 main unit must be switched on before powering it on (SW4 is set to the "On" position and the 12V LED lights up when switched on).

Tip: The BPI-R4-NIC's 12V power supply is provided via pins 6/28/48 of the mini-PCI socket. If you are using other modules, be sure to switch SW4 Turn it off if you are unsure whether the module can withstand 12V.
