Refrigerator steam unit: Allows control of the cold air flow from the freezer compartment to the refrigerator. Suitable for certain models of side-by-side refrigerators.
Repairable faults: 1. Refrigerator too cold: If the damper control fails, the refrigerator compartment will become too cold and freeze if the damper remains stuck in the open position. // 2. Not cooling enough: If the air damper remains stuck in the closed position, the refrigerator will only partially warm up and will not be cold enough. // 3. Error code: H1.

Easy Installation: Replacing the damper control: 1. First, disconnect the power supply and put on gloves to protect your hands. 2. Remove the top shelf, remove the five mounting screws, disconnect the yellow wire, and remove the thermostat sensor. 3. Remove the damper control, unplug the power cord, disconnect the ground wire, remove the foam flap, and remove any adhesive residue. 4. Install the new damper control.
