Safety instructions:
1. This controller automatically adjusts to 12V/24V or allows you to manually set the appropriate battery charging mode. During initial installation, ensure the battery has sufficient voltage to start the device and that the controller parameters are set automatically.
2. Install the controller as close as possible to the battery to avoid voltage drop due to excessively long cables, which would impair normal voltage assessment.
3. This controller is suitable for charging lead-acid, solid-state, lithium, lithium iron phosphate, and other batteries. When charging lithium batteries, you must be familiar with their characteristics and adjust the charging parameters after connecting them to the power supply before use. For example, when charging a 12V lithium battery, the output protection is set to 9.5V, the full protection to 12.2V, and the charging voltage is 11.5V when the battery voltage drops.
4. This controller can only use photovoltaic modules as a charging source. Do not use direct current or other power sources as a charging source.
5. This controller generates heat during operation. Ensure that the controller is installed on a flat, well-ventilated surface.
6. When charging lithium batteries, you must use a battery protection board and only choose products from lithium battery manufacturers that are certified and meet national requirements. Direct charging without a protection board is strictly prohibited, and unauthorized modification of lithium battery packs for charging is also strictly prohibited.
System connection
1. Connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery to the controller as described in the manual. The controller will then automatically detect the battery voltage.
2. Connect the positive and negative terminals of the load to the controller as described in the manual, making sure not to connect them incorrectly.
3. Connect the positive and negative terminals of the solar panel to the controller as described in the instructions.
Note:
When using the 0V start and battery repair function of the battery, you must remember to charge the battery voltage value with electricity.
Example: Repair a 12V battery, set bt12V and perform a 0V start in the memory after a lack of battery power.
